It was important to the sport because of the magnitude of the event, it was important to both men because it was a financial windfall of epic proportions, it was important to the debaters, to the non-homers it was 5 years to late. It's hard to argue that while both are still terrific fighters the prime was gone when it happened for both. I still think had Marquez not KO'd pacquaio and this fight happens at least two years ago that 4.4 million would've been considerably bigger.

lol don't remind me. I take pride in the fact that I added a hedge to my bet on Pac by stoppage with a bet on Floyd by decision. By fight night Floyd by decision got as low as like -110 or so was insane.

Just notice why very few highlights from Mayweather hitting Pac with his counterpunching skills? Instead its the opposite. I think Pac is really a great boxer and a very good counter puncher.
