Told y'all this was coming. Even if it is for the regular belt, when the super champion vacates, the regular champion will be elevated to super champion so it's irrelevant.

but Jose Benavidez is the interim Super champion, in theory he should be the one elevated, no?

I thought Khabib did enough to unseat Vargas and prevent that garbage Bradley Vargas fight. He has the skills for sure,but is a slow starter, and he does not punch with conviction. I like his style though

Broner lost his last fight too, so both of these guys come with bagage. Don,t know much about Khabib, but Vargas aint spit compared to Porter, so his loss looks worse.This is do or die for AB, he needs more shaddow boxing and less time in the mirror.

not every division has a super champion. for example, cuellar was the interim champion, then upgraded to regular champion while walters was still the super champion, and now that walters lost his belt, cuellar is still the regular champion. zambrano is the interim.

It would be smart for Broner to stay away from the welterweight division. He's undefeated at 140 and under. 1-2 at welterweight.

He needs to take his training serious so he can make 140. You're right, 147lbs is not for him at all.
