Joan Guzman has backed out of his showdown with WBO featherweight champion Scott Harrison in Belfast on may 20, angering the Scot and his promoter Frank Warren
Frank Warren could not hide his anger at Guzman's decision, claiming he 'swallowed it.'
"To say I am disappointed, especially when we had signed a contract for the fight, is an understatement," said Warren.
"It's a real liberty on the part of Guzman and I think he swallowed it, plain and simple.
"All the talk from him has been about what he was going to do to Harrison but I think it was beginning to dawn on him the Scott really wanted to fight - and give him a hiding."
Cant understand why Guzman has pulled out this late, with the fight only 1 month away.
Guzman is moving upto super featherweight, was he struggling to make the weight.
