That set of circumstances can justify a tune-up fight. No one is trying to defend PBC as a whole though, I take each match up on a case-by-case basis. In this case, it's a garbage match up but not totally unexpected given the circumstances.

It's a garbage match up but it's a tune up fight so they usually are garbage match ups. Tune-up/Stay-busy fights aren't anything new in boxing and the tune-up opponent is usually low level.

If Quillan wins this fight and then fights another opponent of around the same level instead of someone in the top 15 - that's the time I'd feel compelled to criticize. Right now, at this point in time, I'm not surprised by the level of opponent. Doesn't mean I plan on watching it though.. lol

Fight shouldn't go 10... if it does, there's real trouble. Huge gap in experience should produce a highlight KO reel for them to ride into the Jacobs fight....maybe throw some promotional video of Zerafa nude to raise awareness for the Jacobs fight
