Floyds record will be intact as a guy who never got in a real fight for his entire career. He'll be remembered as a talented defensive guy who danced and hugged his way to unspirited boring dramaless wins that nobody can remember and wouldn't want to. I would generously put him somewhere in the bottom half of the top 100 all time. That's a gift because he never took a risk in his career. You Can't walk with Sugar Ray( both), Hagler, Hearns, Duran, Ali, Foreman, Tyson, Holyfield, Louis without being in a real fight. It's an insult to those guys. They fought anybody and everybody put in their way and like All time greats, win or lose they acted like fighters. That is why they are respected as all time greats and always will be.

It's fine whatever he chooses and he fought much better opposition than Marciano but Marciano ran a higher risk of losing due to the era, weight division, and lack of oversight/protection available these days. It's almost a disservice to Chavez Sr that they barely ever mention his insane achievement considering the number (regardless of the arguments about his opposition)
