If you had to pick between HBO or Showtime to watch fights which would it be?

Simple question, based upon the fights that both networks have been showing, if you had to choose between a subscription to only one of the afforementioned channels which would it be?

    Don't include PPV's.

Tough one... Showtime looks depressing (really bad lighting) but great commentary. And HBO always feels like the big leagues despite lackluster commentating.

    Shoulda had a middle option.

Im going to have to pick Showtime since I guess they have a contract with Gary Shaw who has a contract with Vic Darchinyan whos fights are televised on Showtime. lol If it wasn't for Vic den it would be a tough one.

I believe HBO, despite employing larry merchant, is visually a greater expereince

Sho on the other hand, seems to bring better fights

The again, they also have Jim Grey, who looks somewhere between that geek in highschool that smelled the girls' room toilet seats, and that uncle who you don't let go near your kids

........hmmmm.............larry merchant sucks too much ass. Sho

Showtime always seemed to of been far better -
Hagler, Benn, McClellan, Prime Hamed, Tyson, Holyfield, Hatton, Tszyu, Calzaghe, etc. Great fights like Benn-McClellan, Castillo-Corrales, etc. Great occasions like Benn-Eubank II, Tyson-Holyfield II.
