I understand if you can't afford it. Times are tough. If you need the money for bills or food, you should use it for that.

Great news. That's likely the route I will go.

He was at the presser yesterday with Floyd.

                True.

Personally I don't think the theaters are competing against PPV; no one in the right mind is going to decide between hosting a party at their house or taking their family to the theater.

The theater option, in addition to the other various closed circuit options (bars airing the fights, clubs using the Mayweather fight to market their other Saturday events, etc), is competing against those who would consider streaming the fight.

Would you rather illegally stream the PPV on your computer (might even have the adapter cables to connect to whatever TV is in your house) and risk losing the stream during the fight, or would you rather pay $15 (plus snacks) to catch the fight in pristine quality on a screen that is likely 10 times the size of your TV?

I think the movie theatre is attractive to much of Floyd's base-which is younger, doesn't own homes, and isn't hosting a fight party.

They all go out to the theatre, watch the fight, then hit the clubs. Me, I have a fight party at my crib, Once its over, we get it in play cards, music etc.

I wouldn't even watch this at the $1 theater.
