The ring ain't gonna be black, the ring about to be empty if these momos don't get their **** together.

To many cats trying to be the shot caller in boxing. This is why hearing about big fight talks is always sorta embarrassing for me as a boxing fan. When there is no clear A side (as I believe this fight is with a future HOFer, top draw + current champ vs a top draw + next era superstar) or even a delusional B side (as I know many feel these talks are one way or the other) this problem is gonna exist a large percentage of the time.

Cotto & Canelo both bottoms at this point. Losing to the big names, Cotto just got more experience at it thus also has more experience at knowing how the top reacts. Thats why these fight talks are so ****ing silly. Both trying to be the top at the elite level vs another elite guy for the first time & don't know how to do it. Its like watching a **** with two *******. Awkward af.

cotto - de la hoya in their primes would have been something else.

that fight has war written all over it. cotto's smaller, and can't hit as hard with the left hook, but he's a very craft boxer, and he's more of a two handed fighter.

the more i watch oscar fight in his prime, the more i realize that he was a one handed fighter. jab and left hook were freaking legit, but cotto has a right hand to the body and head that is more meaningful.

The Oscar who fought Vargas would've beaten Cotto but you're right, DLH's arsenal is a bit overrated. Before 154, he barely had a right hand. But what he did have was one of the best jabs in the sport, one of the best left hooks, best uppercuts, a solid beard and a very sharp boxing brain.

Hmmm...De La Hoya vs Cotto in their prime...wow! I would have to go w/ Oscar slightly.
Lets not forget the Vargas that Oscar beat was Trinidads left over so was Oba Carr & so was Yory boy Campas (they were all underfeated until they met Trinidad)

It would have been a good fight, but I think Oscar would win it handily, prime for prime. I think Oscar had a bit more speed, that coupled with height and reach advantages are too much for Cotto. Oscar for my money hits a little harder too, and has a better chin obviously. I think Cotto is a bit more skilful, and has a better defence, thus why it would be a good fight.

Pretty much Cotto said that when ODH's GBP does their thing, they have their own ring & Roc Nation has their own ring.

ODH is the one complaining about the ring color being black. Even though, they asked Cotto would that effect the logos that would go on the ring & he stated that it would make no difference.

That this is a Roc Nation event and that Roc Nation wants to use their ring for the PPV fight.

Then Cotto called ODH a spoiled little girl, cuz ODH is the one complaining about stuff. Una nina malcriada. Over a ****** thing like the color black of the ring.

Then they asked him about how does he feel about Tito Trinidad chosing Canelo over him. Cotto responds by saying that he invites Tito to sit ringside come November 21st and see me do work. They asked him if it bothered him that Tito picked Canelo to win & he said no cuz everyone has their own opinions. They asked him if Cotto has ever had any problems with Tito & he said no. No problems ever.

Then he said this that actually surprised me, "Tito was & still is Puerto Rico's champion."

IMO it's understandable from Roc Nation's point of view, being that this would be their 1st PPV as the host promoter.

... says the maricon who sports pink crocs and yoga pants... YOGA PANTS for crying out loud.

Cotto is a ***** and a coward, we know he is trying to avoid King Taino Canelo, now.

Damn, Cotto seems legit pissed he is being made to look bad. Oscar needs to be careful, Canelo is the one taking the punches.
