The 2 Maidana fights did 700,000 buys or less depending on who you believe.
People always say they aren't going to buy Jr.'s PPV's but this one has a different level of hate. I doubt the casuals even tune in after all the bad press the Pacquiao fight got.
$74.99 for HD is a joke.
They would have put it on CBS but I doubt too many sponsors wanted to be associated with Floyd in this social climate right now.

Well he can afford to say that because his $30 Million or what ever is Guaranteed. Pacquiao should have been his last fight!

Yup and the Guerrero fight didn't do well either. Because of the huge guarantee salary in the contract for Mayweather Showtime has reportedly lost money on every PPV with him with the exception of Pacquiao and Canelo. With such a lousy opponent in Berto and the negative backlash from fans from the Pacquiao fight it creates the perfect storm. This fight will be a massive PPV failure for Showtime and you make it worse when the fighter is telling fans during the promotion of the fight "don't buy it". Showtime would rather Mayweather atleast pretend like this is real fight and promote it as such. But even he can't really defend it so he's like screw it I'm getting paid I could care less if the PPV flops that's Showtimes problem LMAO

and yes Berto will define Floyds legacy and sums up who he was as a person.
WHo is comparing them? The notion that this fight defines Floyd is utterly ******ed. So I took a random HOF fighter-Tommy Hearns-and wondered if his last fight defines him as well. I could ask about others if you wish.

Sorry dude, its cool to hate Floyd but what you posted is ******ed even for NSB.

Well I'm sure Showtime is happy to hear this. Floyd obviously doesn't care about his fans, yet those morons continue to stroke him off every chance they get. I'm pretty sure they'd get on their knees and take his seed.
