George Groves' bid to claim the WBC super-middleweight title against Badou Jack will be on the Floyd Mayweather undercard in Las Vegas on September 12.

The duo had been scheduled to meet later this month, but now the fight has been finalised at the MGM Grand as Mayweather Jr takes on Andre Berto in what could be his final fight before hanging up his gloves..

Groves, 27, was knocked out by Carl Froch at Wembley last year in an eagerly-awaited rematch, Froch having won their first meeting on a controversial stoppage.

Mannn I have to get the PPV now - Groves was one of my favorite prospects coming up- he fell short but I'm still pulling for him to win a title. Groves is the more gifted fighter imo and should be the favorite but he's possibly declining...meanwhile, Jack looked good last fight - solid all round, utility guy. IF Groves can't buckle or KO him and he wins this fight he should be included on the various 'most improved fighter' lists we see at the end of the year. Anyway, Groves still should beat him but it's still very close 55-45 I'd say. War groves!!
