Yea they were all in wheelchairs coming off losses too, right?
When is the last time Floyd even fought another fighter coming off a loss?
I believe it was Zab Judah. And like a true champ, Floyd fought the man that beat Judah in his very next fight after waxing Judah.
I haven't seen too many other champions operate like that.
Case in point. Zaheer Raheem upsets Erik Morales and dominates him. Pac fights Erik Morales next instead of Raheem. After beating Morales, Pac steered clear away from Raheem.
Bad comparison, floyd is his own boss and is a cherry picker he even said my health is most important, self presevation, and pacs promoter saw more money in morales rematch. Pac didnt duck him.
I love Mayweather & I was just dogging Fat Dan yesterday for dogging Rod Salka, but I gotta admit if all the reporters kept "accidently" referring to Berto as Salka during questions I'd lol at lil bit about it.
Technically former pro fighter (and contender) Eddie Croft does most of the training with Berto. Virgil is sorta the figure head or executive trainer. He can't really train all his stable
So virgil is another freddie roach just there to take all the glory, roach would let justin fortune and eric brown train fighters but roach would work the corner fight night to collect the majority head trainer fee.
Like you said, if it was a real fight (not rigged) Berto would prolly KO floyd. Which is what I'm counting on. It would be so awesome to see floyd get beat by a cherrypick in the fight that's supposed to close his career.
Yes it would. Only if it were real. Its like The Wizard of Oz with that ***er.

I don't want to confirm some sort of narrative you're painting about Roach. I like Roach (although I'm not a PAC or Cotto fan). But, Hunter has a large stable of big named fighters. So, Hunter utilizing a former pro fighter (Eddie Croft) makes sense to me. Eddie had a good run too. (Full disclosure: My uncle trained Eddie, and I grew up training next to Eddie when he was a pro).
But, this marquee trainers have a big support system and network. Also, boxers benefit from having "name" trainers. Karim Mayfield isn't really trained by Hunter. But it's helped his profile as a fighter.

And what if floyd also run in this fight?? Floyd never take risk.
