I read on boxing scene top headlines that Oscar wants a rematch clause and Cotto refuses to sign with the rematch clause in the contract. I agree with Cotto. No rematch clause should be in the contract. The winner of this fight will want to move on to other fights. Cotto said if the fight is good enough that the fight public demands a rematch then a rematch can be made. An automatic rematch should not be in the contract and Oscar should have faith in Canelo. If Canelo can't beat Cotto the first time then why have a rematch? It's not Cotto or Canelo holding up this fight. It's cautious crybaby Oscar. If Cotto wants a black ring then Oscar should give him a black ring. What difference does it make? How could a black ring give Cotto any advantage? Come on, Oscar, quit holding up this great fight. Drop the rematch clause and give Cotto a black ring and get the damn fight made.
