I do not believe it. I think he does comeback. I hope he does. The sport needs its young fighters to be reminded that you need to master your craft to maximize your success.

He will come back, at least for one more easy fight to surpass Marciano's record of 49-0.

Ellerbe is saying this stuff to sell the fight because he knows most people aren't impressed. He's using the "final fight" angle to hype it. I'd guess they planned to hype it that way all along.

Yeah, I can't see him stopping at 49, unless he gets robbed of a decision and leaves out of frustration like Hagler.

... "final" fight or not, I don't care -- they air it for free in my country...

80-1 underdog? Definitely going to put 20 on Berto to win.

u are a complete sucker if you pay for this. it's barely even worth streaming. you're much better doing other things than sitting down and watching this complete poop mismatch. you could walk your dog to the park, you could be hanging out with family or friends, you could be reading the bible, you could be watching a movie, you could be spending time with your girlfriend or wife, you could be solving a jigsaw puzzle, you could do a little landscape work in your backyard, you can go for a bike ride, etc. etc. so much possibilities.

I really don't believe it. He loves money too much. Besides, by his own admission "the less you get hit, the longer you last". I'm sure he'll want to see how long he lasts before the money stops. I'm NOT paying for this fight, that's for sure.

I just hope no other boxer go the direction he went if they don't want anybody questioning them and their career.
