But, didn't he blame the shoulder for getting stopped by a lesser fighter in Karass??
Berto actually was hurt during that fight. I watched that fight and throughout he was always winding his shoulder and reacted in pain whenever he threw his right hand. And he often complained in his corner about it bothering him. That didn't happen at all with pac and that's the reason I called b******t when he said the pain from his injury affected his performance. I'm not saying he never injured it because he did have surgery but it wasn't severe enough to determine the outcome of the fight.

You can call whatever you want about whatever you like. But Berto did blame his shoulder for losing badly a lesser fighter. And it was ****** of him to let everyone and anyone know he was hurt. He telegraphed that $h!t throughout the fight.
I'm in no way defending Pacman, I don't care. But the pot, team and Floyd's butt buddy shouldn't try to sell this garbage fight of epic proportions with some crap like what Ellerbe said. Because Berto did blame his shoulder for that loss.
I think the point Ellerbe is making is that Berto suffered a more severe injury than Pac. He still fought his heart out and didn't make excuses when he lost. He ****** it up and took that L like a man. Pac on the other hand...............
He did use it as an excuse which was valid since he obviously had a bad shoulder, so bad that he wanted to quit against Karass during the fight but Virgil talked him out of it. So it's ****** for Ellerbe to even bring this up.
