Heh, Algieri is coming off of two losses so he would still be about equally favored to lose. But Algieri/Berto would actually be a decent matchup.

Relatively certain Maidana won some other polls. The upset win over Broner convinced a lot of fans that Maidana could give Floyd problems, especially because the Broner hype train had not totally derailed yet and people drew parallel's between Broner's style and Floyd's style.

Look, Mayweather's ducked him more openly before, this time he didn't make any offers or promises but about 2 years ago, before the Maidana fight was made, Mayweather had a public poll....and he chose the guy who lost that poll lol

For a true duck situation to be going on there needs to be a clear shot to a guy as the legit challenger to a throne. You can't be the #7 guy in the world & be ducked by the #1 guy. Basically if everyone below needs to be beaten by you to not be considered a guy you are ducking then everyone has ducked someone. Its impossible. There also needs to be a clear line to make the fight. I think we can all agree while there was a clear line to make the fight being that both are represented by Haymon there wasn't a high enough ranking by Khan to suggest any champion at 147 was ducking him, let alone the best champion was doing so.

The unexciting & less dramatic reality is there are an extremely small number of legit ducks going on in boxing & mainly there are issues with making certain fights due to all the politics that are involved in boxing these days between alphabet groups, tv channels & promoters.

There is only one official poll, the other polls dont mean anything. Like maybe he should put into account the NSB poll too. lol Khan has lots of fans that are not really boxing fans, but they would pay to watch the khan-mayweather fight. So they only knew about the official poll, not the others.

No. The choice seemed to be between a **** fight and an even ****tier fight. Floyd chose the ****tier but it doesn't somehow make the **** fight a good one. They both ****** and I wouldn't have paid for either.
