Floyd beats Khan, but why the Berto fight? I mean, Floyd could have picked Khan and it would have been a much better fight, no?

Yet he chooses to fight a guy in Berto that lost to Guerrero, Ortiz, and KO'd by Soto Karrass. Not taking anything away from Berto but he has no business fighting Floyd.

Mayweather is one of the few rare fighters that can actually call out his fights. IMO he took the easy road but that's nothing new to Floyd. He's cherry picked his way to 49-0.

and i'm just speaking on what i think i know here but i think it's because khan was just such a douche and annoying that he didn't get it; that simple. yeah, there will be people that say that he cherry picked but that's not accurate. i just think he simply didn't give a douche a payday and to boot, he'd beat khan as easily as he's going to beat berto, but easier because he'll let berto coast, he'd give khan the gatti treatment i believe.

I have to disagree with you here bro. I think Khan is a much tougher fight than Berto. Tall, fast hands, great outside jab and some serious power. Again, I thik Floyd wins, but Berto???????

I agree that Khan got under his skin and Floyd wanted to leave him out on purpose, but in the end I don't think it looks good for his career. If you hate the guy so much, beat his ass.

I think Floyd (like always) took the easier road.

In a way, yes. I don't think that Khan was ever able to work himself into a position where he could not be avoided, but I would say he made more sense than Maidana and without question Berto. The truth is that he has certain assets that I think make Floyd uncomfortable. Do I think he wins? No, but his range, speed, and power made him too high of a risk, where as his losses and bad performances made the reward not quite enough. I think he deserved a shot, but he really only has himself to blame for falling to lesser fighters.
