    Sergei Lyakhovich's questionable body

I think Sergei is a good fighter. But I believe if he doesn't work on his body then he isn't going to be one of the best heavyweights. In the fight, he took tons of head shots and was able to survive amazingly and beat Brewster. But when did Sergei go down? When he was hooked hard to the body. I believe any good heavyweight body puncher is going to break Sergei. Does anyone else agree?

I do hope that he learns a little more defense/moving and he works on his body. I would like to see him in better shape in his next fight because I do like him.

This is a good point that no one has brought up yet.

Yeah, I don't know why McGrit wasn't screaming "go to the body" (unless i missed it). It clearly had a great effect on Liakhovich, but Brewster continued the head hunting. I think he will pick this mistake up for the rematch.

It's a shame because there are some amazing strength and conditioning experts in eastern europe left over from before the collapse of the USSR. Some of the leading sports and exercise experts in the world. I hope Sergei is working with, or will start to work with, some of these guys.

            Thank you Kid Achilles.

I think one of the major downfalls of the heavyweight division is that there is no one focused enough on the sport to work out regularaly. If I could work out 4 days a week for 4 hours a day instead of going to work for 5 days a week for 8 hours a day, I would gladly take that. Plus make millions in one night and only have to hurt for a week. Thats a pretty good deal.

it wouldnt hurt him to lose a good 10 or 15 pounds on his body.
