I think he took this fight solely to get to #50 undefeated. I think he definitely fights again, maybe Sept 2016, against Manny or Canelo/GGG winner or May 2016 if Cotto upsets Canelo.

Funny, that he would walk away with a last fight with someone as average as Berto. Floyd isn't TBE yet, so his mission isn't complete. He should fight and beat someone that would make him closer to being TBE.

Some might say there is nothing he can do to make himself TBE, true in a way. But there sure are people he could beat that would get him closer to that goal. Beating Ward might not even make him TBE, but it sure would make him a step or two closer to it.

That is of course haven giving Pac his rematch first.

Only way he will do another one is if he's offered ****** money.
Or blows ****** money. Both are possible. But I agree, he wants to walk away.

I don't think it will be.

He might have 9-12months off, rest, rejuvenate, then come back for number 50.

ok so now we know what was the hold up. I think they were trying to get Floyd to commit to Showtime if he ends up fighting again. Floyd is his own boss so they didn't get one from him. Floyd will come back for #50 on HBO and they will promote it the right way. Give it the full HBO treatment

                Espinoza lmao

                  Floyd is thinking ahead.
Thats if somebody worthy has established themselves. Danny Garcia is the most likely candidate, seeing as Brook, Thurman, Khan will most likely have avoided each other for 2 more yrs, thatll leave Danny Garcia with the best options for himself, he'll have to just beat 2 of the guys Porter, Brook, Thurman to be recognized as the top 147lber

He's obviously going to fight again to try to beat Marciano's record of 49-0.

Rumour has it that Rod Salka is already on the shortlist for #50.
Wrong. Itll be the same group that has always bought his PPVs: All you Floyd haters

If true, exactly why I have no problem with Berto. People thought Moore was a give me fight to Marciano (which it was) but It was still a good fight and a good farewell to the sport. I won't hold it against him because if anything he doesn't have anything else to prove.
