Unless I truly become convinced that this is his last fight, I'm going to have to find alternative means of watching this one. Favorite fighter or not, this PPV is a rip off and I can't do it.

XDD I get ya bro. The only reason I buy them is because I always have fun regardless of who's fighting (buying into the fight hype trash talk on purpose lol, watching interviews, fight week videos etc). It's my hobby I guess. The event type of feeling always entertains and amuses me.Comment

This fight sums up Mayweather's career, cherry picked for life, ripped off the fans, made himself rich and ducked 99% of his legitimate threats when they were in their prime (and weight-drained one of them).
Floyd's career is an illusion and this fight is a good reflection of that.Comment

So an expensive ppv is better? No one complained about it being potentially free, they complained about the matchup, which hasn't changed.
From what I have heard it was never seriously considered by CBS or Showtime, but people in here were passing it as fact to defend the fight. Now it changed to "it's his last fight doe", but I will highly doubt that.Comment
