No change regarding Chaves-Alexander eliminator according to IBF

Apologies about the headline. It's from, which I realized only now an older ESPN article, however WBN on Aug 3rd reported no change in the eliminator between Chaves and Alexander.


IBF chairman Lindsey Tucker when asked about Alexander or Chaves facing Brook stated to WBN that it was news to him.

Alexander from my understanding has not taken any step aside money, so I guess this fight is next.

WBN doesnt know their **** from their ass. The IBF already offered the fight to Kevin Bizier in place of Alexander. He's been out of the fight since last week and Chaves is likely heading directly to Brook it appears.

Yep. Pretty sure Vanes vs. Lara was the most recent one which went to a purse bid between rival promoters and it was an eliminator.

Hearn has offered 5 people the fight. Strongly suggested that Alexander was one of them.

Hard to tell though. My su****ion was that Alexander pulled out of the eliminator with Chaves and that could be the case reading BPP's last post.
