Seems like a minor hurdle to take care of. Let's get it done and get this fight going. Cotto will have his moments but I got Canelo by KO. It will be a good one regardless.

      To be fair
The cotto may faught was destroyed by margs and pac and looked finished
Now he seems like a rejuvenated world beater everyone thought May was avoiding

The canelo may faught was rushed a bit quick and a bit drained
A mw canelo wont be drained and has abit more experience under him now
2 completly diff fighters he faced

That's the thing we don't know

What if we get a controversial decision?

Doesn't most fights have rematch clauses?

Yup, except this belt is tied to a mandatory... so they gotta deal with that

They probably gon put in the contract if they get a competitive rematch, a controversial decision or a draw

There will be a automatic rematch.

The rematch claus doesn't mean there has to be a rematch, only that there is an option for one.

Well after Floyd is done fighting.
Jay-Z was at the Floyd fight... he gave Floyd/Haymon money because he hates them? And Jay-Z is to RocNation what he was to the Nets, a minority owner who was there for media and marketing. He has no say over in that company, they'll do business with Cotto if it makes sense. And the Watson pop already commented saying they would work with RocNation and Steven A Smith said Cotto if he beats Canelo could fight Floyd. I'm not saying any of this will happen but the Jay-Z/Haymon thing is a non-issue at this point.
