Come on Dirk, you and me both know that Porter and Thurman have never turned down a showdown in the UK, in fact in Porters last interview he said he would be willing to fly over to the UK to possibly set up a match between the winner of Khan and Brook.

What the special one should do though is to follow in the footsteps of Khan and defend the title overseas, but I'm sure keeping it hostage in the UK and fighting boxers which pose the least threat is the way to go.

They might say that but their manager is the one who controls their careers. Brook has never turned down a fight against either of them so you aren't really saying much at all.

So what is stopping the champion going over to the states and defending it against the 147 fighters who are mostly based over in America?

No offers have been made to him. It's all well and good shouting your mouth off to the media.

I get what you are saying but these things work both ways, Hearn should propose an offer to Haymon's fighters to either fight here or in the states.

Eddie Hearn would definitely hold that belt hostage, not that am doubting Brook willingness to fight better names but i see Hearn controlling everything in this case.

How can Hearn propose an offer to fight in the States? Lol....he's a UK promoter.

Al Haymon won't send his high profile fighters like Garcia or Thurman over to the UK so the onus is on him to make Brook an offer if he really wants one of his guys to fight the champion.

i don't know why people are slagging this fight off, maybe because Cháves isnt a massive name, but he is still a good fighter and can ****, he as just got a draw with Bradley,

Diego Chaves is definitely and a step up from his last few fights. At least going in the right direction.
