    ya i agree its not really meant to be realistic its but it does have a boxing feel to it while obviously being over the top but to pretend none of this stuff exists in boxing is also ridiculous i couldnt agree more its a movie oscar not real life

          I thought the movie was good actually stuff in between was a little extra fight scenes was good nothing we don't think of boxers and promoters anyways

            They're good. Lamprey and Roy doing blow by blow...decent fighting and yes he looks good throwing punches.. Forrest Whittaker is great as usual.

                  Oscar is spot on. The problem with the movie is it features just about every over the top boxing cliche you can think of. The movie doesn't have the heart or originality for it to stand out. It's very predictable. I saw it and by the end could really care less about most of the characters the little girl was very annoying. The only good part was Gyllenhaal who was amazing and steals every scene he is in. But can we get a boxing movie that isnt a clone of Rocky 3 or Rocky 5?
