Comments Thread For: Top Rank May Table The September 26th Pay-Per-View

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum had plans on staging a pay-per-view card from Mexico on September 26th that would've featured the likes of Gilberto Ramirez and Oscar Valdez. But it looks like they may be having a change of plans for the time being.

Ramirez is quickly taking the spot that chavez jr wasted... Chavez should have stayed at top rank and been fighting abraham

            Hard luck Arum.

You started the cold war, now deal with it.

Hope you drown in your own greed and ******ity.

Not surprising, as there wasn't much of a market for this pay per view.

The writing has been on the wall...Arum was originally talking about names like Roman Gonzalez, Jose Zepeda, Gilberto Ramirez and Oscar Valdez for this card.

Well, Gonzalez is on the Golovkin-Lemieux PPV, Zepeda injured his shoulder against Flanagan, and Valdez has been rumored for that TruTv card on 9/11.

But good luck with that Arum! I understand why he is trying to do it because HBO seem to have cut back his dates and is focusing on other fighters which is unfortunate for Arum
