  • Comments Thread For: Marco Huck, Dana White Meet: Talk Possible UFC Run?

Is the Super Champion about to switch camp? All that’s on Marco Huck’s (38-2-1, 26 KOs) mind is his upcoming bout against mandatory challenger Krzysztof Glowacki (24-0, 15 KOs). The reigning WBO World Champion is facing the polish fighter at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on August 14th, giving his US debut. As the fight is only two weeks away, the German Cruiserweight is training hard but every now and then he has to get away from the strict schedule to clear his mind. One of these welcome distractions led him to the President of the UFC, Dana White.

Two different sports, but Huckster boxing style is unrefined very similar to mine and other MMA fighters

But the stand up brawling style ala rampage,W Silva and Chuck is dated and not as successful as it used to be

And Huck is only 30? Damn I thought he was at least 35 or something.

No way he will take the pay cut to fight MMA until he is a washed up boxer

hahaha thread is a bit misleading. He vaguely discussed maybe a possibility of doing mma but said he is fully focused on boxing.

Once it gets taken to the ground, a boxer loses.

Come on, his coach Don House is UFC cutman and a good friend of Dana White....
I don't think Huck would go to MMA, but he has experience in kickboxing and muay thai.

Are Huck's knees in tip top shape, or did they take too much abuse while he was a kick- boxer? This is an important consideration for Huck if he is to switch to MMA.

Tell that to Conor McGregor or Chuck Liddell.
