Broner needs John David Jackson

He has some talent but all talent in the world is going overboard to me. He clearly can't handle an aggressive hard hitting fighter who comes at him hard with good combinations. His only defense against Maidana and Porter was a bear hug clinch holding on for dear life. He did supplement his octopus defense with an illegal palm in the face. If Jackson can teach him to stand his ground and block or slip punches and then counter he can help Broner. Broner can help himself by staying lean and fit all year and training harder.Comment

Nobody can save that overhyped baboon. There is no next level for broner he's a basic fighter who made a name for himself by beating on smaller fighters. I can't believe people still can't see that hes a bumComment

Nobody can help Broner except himself. No trainer can help Broner if Broner isn't willing to learn. He's poorly educated with a bad attitude... he's a lost cause imo. Broner and Chavez Jr. are more alike than Broner and Mayweather lol. I'd rather Haymon use Broner as cannon fodder for the better guys in his stable at 147lbs. I love watching Broner get beat like the Maidana fight.Comment

Broner's talent is overrated.
He has good handspeed, and decent power, which has diminished as he has gone up in weight. His footspeed is far from special. His reflexes, which is more important than the speed of your hands, is not that special either. He doesn't seem to be the quickest learner of boxing either, a "natural" who just picks up on boxing nuances faster.
What is this wonderful talent that people speak of what talking about Broner?
People act is as if he were Hector Camacho Sr. or Michael Nunn squandering ATG talent. He is moderately talented/gifted as far as world class fighters go.Comment
