Unifications are so rare nowadays, so I don't understand why the champions have to be the only options. There could be a rematch or he can fight someone ranked in the top 15 by the Wba, perhaps a mandatory or a voluntary defense.

They're both Haymon managed unless I missed the news that Rau'Shee left Haymon.

It was a bit messy but it was one of the more exciting PBC fights. I have to ask though, just who are they marketing a main event to that starts at 11:15 PM on a Sunday night??

The irony is, Warren had more success when he stopped acting like a fairly, held his ground and actually fought, which he did do in the last three rounds. His insistence on meaningless posing and posturing cost him the fight.

I had Payano-Warren 112-112, the fight was sort of entertaining but far too sloppy for my tastes. Ref did a poor job controlling it and was inconsistent throughout. Warren was holding a lot, most of the time Payano wasn't falling in so there was no justification for it and Warren also used his head a lot. Payano was throwing a lot of rabbit and kidney punches.

I think he was tire. He came out throwing bombs and naturally was spent.

He didn't really come back until the 9th, but lost two points.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. If I was not flipping through channels, I wouldnt have known this fight was televised. It was a good fight nonetheless, but I guarantee it did not do well in the viewership department.
