GGG above Bhop? And your forgetting names like Fullmer, Tiger, heck even Leonard, only one fight but already a better resume than GGG.

GGG has a long way to go before he gets mentioned as a great. But right now, in terms of the last 10 or 15 years, he is a top 5 middleweight.

LOL, no. MW is one of the deepest divisions in the history of the sport and Golovkin has accomplished almost nothing in his era, let alone all time. Not his fault, but he doesn't get imaginary credit for those who ducked him or because he doesn't have anyone better to fight.

Three pages in and not one mention of Greb....

Personally I don't rate a title as having any intrinsic value other than it commonly stands you're beating high-level opposition. That said, if Golovkin unifies, defends, and remains unbeaten at MW over the next 4-5 years, then yes I would rate him as a top all time MW (without any particular ranking).

Lemieux, Lee, N'Dam, Alvarez, Quillin/Jacobs winner, then the young guys like Khytrov, Derevyanshenko, Eubank, Soro, Magomedov, Douglass, Charlo, Andrade, J-Rock - that's a plausible resume if Golovkin retires at 38.

I'm waiting for Ward to come up , lol

Back to topic, If he unifies and keep the winning streak with nothing but KO's, it almost impossible not to place him in top 5. But unifying is mandatory for that.

Another dumb post from the king of ignorance.

The answer is no. Thee factors working against him. First he's 33 and hasn't made significant progress yet. Second, there really isn't the type of competition at his weight class and below to get him there. Lastly when presented with the type of fight that could get him there (Ward),he passed

Macklin, Murray, Geale, Rubio, and Stevens were all top 10, I think. The only fighter I'm not sure about is Stevens.

the best he can do is unify and clear out the division. in this era, that will probably not be enough to leave him with a legacy like hagler or monzon, but his dominance will be undeniable, like wlad at heavyweight. achieving undisputed status ensures that a boxer's name will always be remembered, regardless of the circumstances

Top 10 by who's standards? Proksa, Macklin, Stevens, Geale, Rubio were all rated top 10 MW's by Ring and their respective orgs. IWBR & TBRB both had some of those guys rated top 10 as well at the time Golovkin fought them.

None of Golovkin's opponents to date were outstanding MW's for this period, but all were solid contenders - no worse than when Hopkins fought Allen, Echols, or Vanderpool (pre-Trinidad).
