When will Haymon consistently give us good matchups?

Why is it that a certain fan base will not criticize Haymon? Look at who Garcia, Thurman, and Jacobs just fought. Paulie, Collazo, and Mora have not been relevant in many years and you got a platform like ESPN and those guys are in the main events. How can anybody defend that?Comment

Fights this year
HBO:
Matthysse/Provodnikov
Kovalev/Pascal
GGG/Lemieux
Canelo/Cotto (upcoming)
Postol/Matthysse(with a good undercard with Soto)
PBC:
Mares/Santa Cruz
Thurman/Guerrero
Garcia/Broner
HBO by far has the better product this year.Comment

HBO is the top boxing network in the US and has been around for 30 years. PBC's been around for 6 months.Comment

Basically this.
I'm not even sure what matches among PBC fighters do guys see as these huge matchups that aren't being put on. Thurman vs Guerrero, Garcia vs Peterson, Porter vs Broner & Santa Cruz vs Mares all seem like top of the line fights. There hasn't been that BIG fight quite yet cuz that **** is like trying to put lightning in a bottle & just needs to happen naturally & this whole thing started in March. Are there more of these types of fights among PBC guys? Sure. Could they be huge epic Arturo Gatti type battles? Sure. But in boxing, rightly or wrongly, you don't throw out your best possible fights each week. PBC gots 50 odd shows this year. They're throwing out about one big top ten fighters fight a month. That works in this business for most people. Idk why its not suppose to work for PBC.Comment

Never, no promoter does that consistently or will ever do it, it won't be good business. They have to push down our throats a bunch of divas fighting tomato cans to pad their records and make them appear interesting so we pay even more when they go to ppv, or anybody thinks that haymon will keep things free when he gets most of the "stars" under his umbrella?Comment
