Just saw Southpaw at the theater..

I really enjoyed it. Cool boxing scenes and great acting from JG and Whittaker.
Definitely recommend seeing it if you haven't already.
Don't know why it's called southpaw though lol.

The end he switched from Orthodox to Southpaw to win the fight.

The movie was meh IMO, I thought it could be tons better. I'm looking forward to see Creed though

We got ourselves a real siskel and ebert here, phenomenal review man, fantastic work love how you went so in depth and dropped the philosophical thought provoking words. Mind blown, bruh.

I don't think he did..I thought he threw a straight right and a left uppercut out of the conventional stance?

During the training montage he teaches him how to shift. I'm oversimplifying, but a quick explanation is that you throw a power punch from an orthodox stance, step in with your right foot to move into a southpaw stance, and then throw a power punch with the left that has more weight behind it. Very subtle. Lamotta was the king if it and GGG has been using it as well recently. You can use it for things like cutting off the ring or taking angles away too, but that's a lot more indepth.
