Comments Thread For: Danny Jacobs, Trainer: Mora Was Looking To Escape KO

Brooklyn, New York- In the two rounds between middleweights Danny Jacobs (30-1, 27 KO's) and Sergio Mora (28-4-2,9 KO's), there was two knockdowns in the first round. A knockdown in the second resulted in an ankle injury to Sergio Mora. Because Mora was unable to continue, the end result was a TKO victory for Jacobs.

Jacobs’ trainer Andre Rozier wanted his fighter to be aggressive and become the first fighter to stop Mora.

I think the more they talk, the more Jacob loses fans. Pathetic!
I really liked Jacob and now I'm starting to really dislike him.

i've never seen people take so much pride from an injury KO.

Yea a punch landed on the top of the head, but you acting like it caused shockwaves running through his whole body and broke his ankle

Damn. It's like they want to dig the hole deeper.

All he had to do is be humble in victory and now he is hated for not being humble.

          Poor pr by TEAM JACOBS.

And this my friends is how you end up losing all of your fans in a sport that depends so much on fan viewership. Keep talking and soon haymon is going to use you as a stepping stone for prospects.

The replay was terrible, looked like the Paul George tape from last year. Jacobs even said something like " No rematch, no need to go backward ". Bums will be bums.

It's really pathetic to just dismiss Mora's injury that way. Makes them sound like they were actually worried of what might happen without the injury.

                    **** outta here.

He was clearly hurt. He most likely has a serious injury. I like Jacobs. He has a great comeback story but they just need to be quiet right now.

Jacobs should have agreed to give Mora a rematch as well. That wasn't a true KO. I do want to see him fight Quillin soon as well.
