      I'd say Brandon Rios.

I'm not even sure what "pure boxer" really means. Someone who is hard to outbox from the outside? Someone who uses lateral and backfoot movement and knows all the angles? Someone who is fundamentally sound? I heard others say "imagine if he were featherfisted...the pure boxer would still be great".

It's like when people say in basketball that someone is a "pure shooter". Is that just another way of saying "great shooter"? I'm assuming it doesn't all have to deal with being fundamental, as that would sort of eliminate Reggie Miller since his form wasn't fundamental.

the idea that "sweet science" and "boxer" are explanations for why you dont get KO's is fairly recent

back in the day sweet science was all about setting up the KO and they called this "having no power"

what's he mad about? Lomachenko got beaten by a limited but strong and mentally hungrier guy in Salido. Lomachenko isn't physically as good as a pro, yet, as he was as an amateur. The Salido rematch should have happened and now they're keeping him away from guys who are physically strong.
