Anthony Joshua will be the next crossover star in Boxing

Mainstream media and fans are going to fall in love with this guy. He is already massively popular in the UK. He is going to take the torch from Klitschko and rule the Heavyweight Division. Here are some videos to show you the future. It is also rumored that Kell Brook, Lee Selby and other Matchroom Boxing fighters are going to be advised by Al Haymon. With this promotional muscle behind him he is going to have no problem getting the casual fans.

I was gonna say "That's very likely" but then I read your post TS, and now I don't know anymore.

Not convinced yet. From a PR point of view he's on the right track obviously, says all the right things.

Will reserve judgement until he fights people that are actually trying to win. Not that there has been anything wrong with his progression so far.

I think he COULD be the next Lennox or Tyson popularity wise if he keeps winning that is.

He's def the top heavyweight prospect and I think he will be the goods.

But it won't be easy for him to be a crossover star, at least in the U.S.A.

That accent is gay to us Americans, and we don't like our heavyweights to talk like that, he also won't get much media coverage since he fights in the U.K.

An Anthony Joshua - Deantay Wilder megafight is certainly possible, especially if one if them can dethrone Klitschko.

You prefer them to talk like Mike Tyson

This. He hasn't shown anything yet, beating a washed up on a losing streak Johnson proves absolutely nothing. We don't know enough, at this point honestly I'd still favor Wilder over him.

What we do know about Joshua
                - power
                - can finish off washed up bums
                - big heavyweight

                What we don't know
                - can he go 12 rounds?
                - does he have a chin?
                - is he actually Elite level?

I wish he was fighting Wach next, not Whyte.. oh well

There's a reason he's still the most popular boxer in the world.
