From an overall skill stand point, where does Harden rank among the best SG's of all time???

    I personally think he's top 5.

    Jordan
    Kobe
    Iverson
    Drexler
    Wade

All took squads too a title or at least the finals.

Harden got work too do. He is skillful, but what good is the skills if you don't maximize them.

All of the above named players at least tried to play DEFENSE, harden as never ever thought of trying to play defense, historically? are you serious he's not top 5 of current 2 guards. Historically? NEGRO PLEASE...

Damn good list but switch up Iverson and Drexler. Drexler and Jordan were monsters at the SG position for damn near a decade or arguably more than a decade. If Portland had a stronger big men they would have contended for a title with Chicago damn near every year in the 90's!

What the hell are you talking about.

You are responding too the wrong person.

As you can clearly see I listed my top 5 and harden isn't in it.

Maybe top 5 in the state of Tx, at least 3 or 4 in texas now, not including colleges (well, D1 or 2A). Does NAIA still exist? LOL

I think because of the fact that he doesn't have the elite athleticism of some of the other great 2 guards, but is just as effective speaks to his overall skill level being extremely high. For me he is above a guy like Dwayne wade who never developed a three point shot and was never as good a ball handler.

A prime Dwyane Wade is vastly superior to James Harden.

Wade has a very good handle and he has one of the best moves you'll see from a SG, his Euro-step is savage. Not to mention Wade was always an elite level defender, always came up big in the biggest games (Harden does not) and single handedly dragged the Heat to a title in 06.

James Harden is not even in the same league as a prime Wade.

This. Wade, in his physical prime and healthy, was truly special.
