Former two division champion Paulie "The Magic Man" Malignaggi (33-7, 7 KOs)admits that he may never fight again, after getting stopped in nine rounds by Danny "Swift" Garcia (31-0, 18 KOs) in the main event of Premier Boxing Champions on ESPN. The fight took place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The loss was the second consecutive stoppage defeat for Malignaggi, who was coming back from a long layoff after suffering a brutal knockout at the hands of Shawn Porter.

He used to be intelligent and witty. Now, he's just so far out there that you can tell the sport is catching up with him. I'd say he's suffered more than enough permanent damage to justify retiring. It's not like Roy where he's still able to conduct himself normally.
I used to like Paulie a lot but I really don't care for what he's become and I blame his bizarre behavior on brain trauma.
