Is Danny Garcia moving up to 147 permanently?

If so, he would have to vacate his titles right? That might make for some good fights for titles at 140. Who do you think will be champions at 140?

He's WBC emeritus champion so he can have a title shot straight away if he decides to move back down...however he will have to fight the winner of Matthysse/Postol

Only a matter of time until 140 is owned by Imam.

The only way he moves back down forcefully is if Paulie KOs him tonight. Otherwise, he is staying for good but I have a hard time believing he will take on Maidana, Porter, Thurman, Brook etc. I think we will be in a streak of WW Rod Salkas for a while until he will fight only ONE of those names.

He'll move back down to 140lbs after he loses to a real 147lber. ie Brook, Porter or Thurman.

Yes, he is moving to 147 permanently and it's about fucing time. He is a world champ and he hasn't defended his 140 pound world title in 16 months. He should have moved up to 147 a year ago instead of putting his title on hold for catch weight fights. That's not fair to the 140 top contenders.
