Absolutely! Lampley is the king of doing this. Lampley is a great Play By Play announcer but he knows how to push the HBO Agenda. Lampley only call the action for the guy HBO is Backing and he just ignores his opponent. Absolutely this can ruin a good fight!

Why is it so hard to just call it straight down the middle? That is what Commentators are suppose to do not try to influence the Viewers but

Yep. I can't make it through Bradley vs Provo very easy on rewatch with Jones **** riding Timmy so hard. Or the first batch of fights where Roy didn't bother to learn the fighters names and just talked about god the whole time.

Absolutely... Bad commentating and opinions can distract you when you're watching a fight or any sprung event

Of course it can, and you have to remember the human race is very easily manipulable. People started realizing Manny won the fight after watching the fight again. Now everybody is saying Manny beat Floyd convincingly when I was one of the FEW who said it as soon as the fight was over. Live commentary influences people's perspective on what they are watching.
