If Maidana comes into the fight in top shape I think he is too good and hits too hard for Algieri. Algieri can't hurt him and he can't outbox him for very long. Maidana has a very good attack with hard punches thrown with both hands in fast combinations. Maidana's punches can come from different angles and it's hard to block or slip all of them. Algieri can be knocked down but so far he always gets back up. Maidana will probably knock him down a few times but Algieri will probably go the distance. Maidana should clearly outpoint him.
