  • Comments Thread For: Golovkin-Lemieux: Arroyo in Front For Roman Gonzalez

Nicaraguan Roman "Chocolatito 'Gonzalez is ready to defend his WBC flyweight crown at Madison Square Garden in New York City, as the HBO Pay-Per-View co-featured fight to the middleweight unification between Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin and David Lemieux on October 17th.

While names like Giovani Segura and Brian Viloria have been kicked around, it appears that Puerto Rico's McWilliams Arroyo (16-2, 14 KO) is leading the pack to land the Gonzalez (43-0, 37KOs) shot. Arroyo would add some Puerto Rican flavor to the show and may attract some fans in the heavy Puerto Rican market of New York City.

I rather to watch Estrada vs Roman as the first fight was very closed war. Some people thought Estrada won the fight that is the reason why the fans want to see a rematch.
