A lot of it also has to do with the self destructive tendencies folks choose to follow through with. Regardless, racism may exist because ignorance is blissful but it goes both freaking ways. I assure you, I've met plenty of racist black folks in my lifetime, and they seem to get a pass from everyone because of the fear of backlash.
