Comments Thread For: Canelo Alvarez Starts Early Camp For Miguel Cotto Clash

Mexican superstar Saul “Canelo” Alvarez (45-1-1, 32 KO) is not wasting any time in getting started with his training regime leading up to a clash with the WBC middleweight champion, Miguel Cotto (40-4, 33 KO) of Puerto Rico, which is more than likely taking place on November 21st on the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

Why's that sad? Is Cotto not a future HOF? Is he not the lineal MW champ? Ok then Haymon****sucker, thought so.

And Cotto has no chance BTW

I was going with the general consensus. You should go back and read some of the posts from 2012. Personally I never thought Cotto was shot. But it's funny to see people's opinions change when it involves a fighter they like.

This fight is interesting because it tells us where both fighters are. Cotto has looked good against past it or average opponents. I'm interested to see him against a strong, albeit limited guy. As for canelo, let's see how he does against a top guy who can box.

Yeah and Cotto is not fighting an injured fighter nor a drained quitter.

                  It's a great fight btw.

alvarez quit against mayweather because he got tired of being counter punched. hopefully he does'nt get frustrated and quit against cotto.
