Comments Thread For: Whyte Will Use Klitschko's Trainer For Joshua Bout

Dillian Whyte has confirmed that he hired Johnathon Banks, head trainer of WBA/IBO/IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko.

Whyte returns on Saturday night in Hull, with Banks in his corner, and faces Irineu Beato Costa Junior. Whyte's previous trainer Chris Okoh was seriously injured in an accident.

    Thats... Interesting.

Banks also did some work with AJ when he was in WK's camp. Maybe he picked up on some flaws that Whyte can exploit?

      Whyte

The good thing about Whyte is he wants to learn.
He is likeable guy.He is been honest with himself that he needs to
Improve. He will give Joshua a real test.I believe it is a 50/50 fight.

I know he's a massive under dog, but I don't think it's completely fair to write off Gary Cornish! "It only takes 1 punch"!

Is Jonathon banks a top trainer? I'm not sure, but it adds some intrigue to the fight.

It's a close call, both could fall and rise once more,
Hungry to win, revenge and glory what this hunts for,
It's a showdown in the west but we wont see guns draw,
Fight night where first we see sun-fall then sons fall.
