SMH.... Canelo will beat the pulp out of cotto and will get NO CREDIT for doing so... Why? cause cotto was old, cotto was passed his prime and blah blah blah, that being said the winner of GGG vs Lemieux should Def. fight Canelo for the 160 belt! determine the Real Champ (GGG)!

Andrew Ward still needs to prove himself. Plus, he's still a little green.

Both times he stepped up he lost. But we some little work he'll get there.

Hard fight to call. Canelo looked flustered against Kirkland at least for the first little bit of the 1st round. He can't fight off the ropes or backing up very well, he does load up on shots when in that position, but his defense lacks.

I don't know if Cotto is strong enough to do so, but I know Cotto's punching power is legit, a lot of opponents claim he's one of the harder hitters they have faced.

I think Nelo's chin may be better, but I think the experience will pull Cotto through. Nelo is not a monster, he won't do what Margs did to Cotto, no way, inside fighting baby, let's go Cotto, place Cinnamon back a peg or two homie

Who is stating that for this fight? I haven't really read anything where anyone is stating the same things you are.

And beat the pulp out of him? Cotto is a better overall boxer than a Kirkland or Angulo, hell even Gomez gave Nelo trouble, he shoulda lost to Lara.

While I feel like it's a hard fight to call, let's be realistic in our assessments

The winner of GGG - Lemieux will still be the mandatory for the WBC title so whoever comes out of the Canelo - Cotto fight will have to fight them in their NEXT FIGHT. Assuming of course that Cotto is not stripped before the fight even happens.

Mandatory hype jobs need to wait their turn. Cotto vs Canelo is the fight America, Mexico and PR wants.

Nooooooo don't throw them away. U need them for your rematch. That's right Cotto/Mayweather II.

Cotto will win and Suliman will bend over twenty times to give Mayweather the opportunity to break numerous records in one night (50th fight, MW strap and so on).

Suliman is the first to break his rules.

I will have to agree with you, Mayweather comes calling no matter who wins, and sulaiman will jump at the chance to burn GGG again because the money will be too good to walk away from. On a side note that dude bercham swore GGG wouldnt step aside, take his idiocy with an entire ocean worth of salt.....

How the hell is canelo beating cotto?? Please explain, im serious. Hes good but cotto is gonna Floyd this young cat. He only has a punchers chance. And last I recall he only knocked out his last opponent was out the ring for two years and wasn't great to begin with. He only dropped trout. So unless cotto gets careless (he wont) how is canelo going to win. WE all know canelo is not going to corner cotto, nor will he get him up against the ropes much. ICotto is going to jab him to death its a wrap.
