Floyd gives up huge advantage at 147lbs!

Alright I think that Floyd will beat Zab. What I'm referring to is when he fights guys like Hatton and Cotto who are naturally big jr. welters and who will have huge benefits in fighting PBF at 147lbs as opposed to 140lbs. I think Cotto and Hatton will jump at the opportunity to fight PBF at 147lbs in stead of 140lbs. At 140lbs there is plenty of competition and he will have more pop than if he goes up and fights real 147 pounders or these dried out 140 pounders.

Anyone else think that this could be a big mistake for PBF?

I'm not referring to Zab or Margarito, I'm talking about guys that he could face at 140lbs particularly Cotto and Hatton. If they fight him at 147lbs they have better chance than at 140lbs, and PBF would be well advised to fight them at 140lbs.

Big mistake fighting at 147? No...

        More dangerous territory? Yes...

Floyd has shown to be a pretty complete fighter, and his defense will keep him successful at higher weights. I think the fighters you mentioned would have a much better shot at him at 147.

Yeah, I'm not saying he losses either, just that he takes a bigger chance against those guys at 147 than he would fighting those same guys at 140.
