      Rafael mentioned it again today.

Looks like it could be in the works.

        Ortiz would school Jennings.

Where? I saw the Wednesday offer part.

Unless Jennings can get more money elsewhere (And I'd guess HBO) then he should probably take it.

jennings could win on points but going for ortiz by TKO, i think he still packs power, which makes me wonder why he took roids
either way last chance saloon for him.

He mentioned it again in his blog early today:

Roman Gonzalez on Gennady Golovkin-David Lemieux undercard

              http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/id...ieux-undercard

Promoter Gary Shaw told ESPN.com on Wednesday night that Golden Boy made him an offer earlier in the day for contender Bryant Jennings, whom Shaw promotes, to face Ortiz.

Shaw said he was interested in making the fight and would go over the offer with James Prince, Jennings' manager.

Jennings (19-1, 10 KOs), 30, of Philadelphia, made a good account of himself in defeat in his last fight, a wide but spirited unanimous decision challenging world champion Wladimir Klitschko on April 25 at Madison Square Garden.

                Jenning outboxes him I reckon.

I'm going to go with the thinking that If Jennings was able to make Wladimir struggle to land flushly on him someone like Ortiz will have an even harder time and will be getting clipped whenever he tries to tear it up with Jennings.

Who does the winner get? Klit? Jennings just fought him (if he wins) and Ortiz is with GBP so no Wilder for him.

Ortiz has some decent skills and power. He'll KO Jennings.
