The hate that some fighters get on this site (mostly from ******* who have not accomplished anything of note in their own life) is sickening.

Anyone who's not p4p is a "bum" around here. You guys can **** on boxers all you want, but it won't help you feel like less of a loser (which is what is at the root of all hating).

If you can't appreciate the artistry of what Mallinaggi does when he's on point, then go watch MMA or a tough-man contest or some **** like that. Having said, if Danny comes with it he's gonna push Paulie's wig back.

Come on now, I like Paulie but the guy has never been a ***in artist in the ring. He's was a decent boxer at his best and is completely shot to pieces right now. This is a terrible match.

Good post (although not a fan of the MMA semi-diss as there is artistry & technical aspects to be appreciated there as well). It seems like some cats on forums aren't happy unless they are ****ting on someone in boxing or any sport or hell even in the entertainment world. Part of the culture of the internet I guess.

That said, while a Paulie fan (if you aren't listening to his podcast you are missing out btw), he's being rightfully overlooked. Mainly this fight seems like a negative thing for Garcia as he's wasted more of his career lately fighting lesser perceived opponents than Khan & he doesn't even wanna fight Mayweather it seems.

Okay, Artistry might be a little hyperbolic. But considering what he's been able to do with such limited power... I just find it impressive. But I think you are probably right.

Thanks. And just to clarify, I think MMA is great, and your right that it involves lots of skill, etc. I could have stated that differently, and I definitely respect what those guys do.

I didn't even know Paulie has a podcast, I'm gonna check it out. As for Garcia, I think this being his first fight at welterweight should be considered when critiquing his opponent. I've been pretty disappointed in Danny's last few performances, and I just hope the move up in weight makes the difference in his performance that he believes it will.
