Comments Thread For: Hearn Reveals Brisk Joshua Ticket Sales, Whyte Fight Next

Matchroom’s Eddie Hearn has told BoxingScene that Anthony Joshua (13-0, 13 KOs) is now the latest in a long line of British fighters who sell huge amounts of tickets. The heavyweight contender meets Gary Cornish for the vacant British belt at London’s O2 Arena on September 12 and the show has already shifted over 8,000 seats.

Whyte next is a good match up but after that I'd like to see him take on a lower ranked top 10 contender. Someone like a Wach or even Thompson would be a cool fight.

Cornish fight is garage. Never seen Whyte, but I guess they have that "rivalry" similar to Coyle-Campbell, which should demand it's own ppv.

Joshua is ranked #2 by WBC and an Olympic Gold Medalist.

I'd like to see him against Erkan Teper. I don't think Teper wins, but he brings that go getter mentality, which makes up for his lack of talent. He will push extra hard and test Joshua.
