The most repulsive fanbase in the history of any sport. They know so little about the sport yet they flood literally every boxing forum on the web and spew utter nonsense. There should be a forum that in order to be a member you have to answer 8 out of 10 random boxing trivia questions with a timer for each question and if you open a new tab (to try and google) it saves your IP address and you cant try and join again for a month. That would eliminate all of them. All they know is Manny and Floyd and if you ask me they know Floyd even better. Any criticism thrown Manny's way or praise thrown Floyd's way and watch out.... 100 pages of whining, crying and racially charged insults... they can't leave soon enough.

Silly discussion really, Fury is right, the winner was obvious.
These " close fight " fans...... either have an agenda, or are clueless.
And people try quoting compubox stats ffs.
1) Compubox stats dont mean shtt
2) Inspecting compubox stats to determine a winner is most definitely not required in order to see who won that fight, being awake should have been sufficient, it really was obvious
3) The compubox stats favor Mayweather
It really is a silly discussion.
I will still argue that Pac did better than expected, well better than I expected anyway.
Pac is clearly an outstanding fighter, and obviously elite, regardless.
Mayweather is a special fighter, he is arguably in better nick than Pacquiao, but he still didnt dominate him..... Mayweather was forced to pay Pacquiao respect right til the end.
War Pac !

That fight was not close.
It was not close, but it was not one-sided, it was competitive for a large part.

I was just saying today how things were going pretty good on BS without the Mayweather/Pacquiao discussions.
Hardcore Manny Pacquiao fans know he lost.
Delusional Manny Pacquiao fans... Well, the posts speak for themselves.

I scored it 8-4 Floyd live which is all that matters but looking at a lot of the slow motion videos of some of the rounds, it's very easy to see how Manny thought he won. There were a few close rounds in there and Manny never got moved, stunned or hurt by anything Floyd threw. The same cannot be said for Floyd, whose own dad told him in the middle of the fight that he was losing and fighting scared.
And for those who want to talk trash about a rematch and emphasize on Manny being a sore loser and possibly getting beat worse in the rematch, just look at his rematch record. He owned Morales twice after he lost to him in similar fashion and was accused of making excuses about giving blood back then. Even if you don't agree about the late blood draw making him weak, surely having torn rotator cuff surgery two days after the fight gives some kind of validity to his story. He didn't just get the surgery for the hell of it whether more damage was done in sparring or the actual fight.

So the word and entire profession of Manny's world renowned athletic surgeon isn't good enough for you? Man you're a hard sell, chief. Or, are you one of those who simply chooses not to believe it because it just might slightly spoil your hero's victory a little bit? I choose the latter.

I dont think you will be able to find a post of mine defending Pacquiao.
I have not been a Pacquiao fan.
I like his style, but I cant stand his fanbase, and I cant stand the hype and bullshht from him and his team. Case in point, Manny saying he won, and then coming out with the injury excuses.
But I am a boxing fan first, and even though it has been fun to bash Pacquiao since Marquez/Mayweather - to make up for the 5 years of insane banter from pacstains..... I will always keep it real regarding the fighters.
I am happy to debate/argue the bold, to death if need be
The rumors of his greatness have been exaggerated by his promoter/fans/media, sure..... but Pac really is a terrific little fighter, there is no question about that.
