First of Mayweather is faster than Judah at least reflex wise. As for punching power that goes to Judah but he wont connect hell even look at his connect numbers against Spinks and he has no chin. I hear people say Mayweather cant hurt him, well if Baldomir can put him on ***** street Mayweather is gonna grind his ass up. The defense of PBF is ridulous and he is a much better counter puncher than Judah, who often gets wild. Mayweather is going to knock Judah out for sure. Peace

I think this is how the fight is going to play out, Judah is going to charge in in round 1, possibly even get Mayweather in trouble early. Next round Judah is overconfident chases him around, and towards the end Mayweather lands the perfect shot on Judah and knocks him down. Judah than springs up and falls back down forcing the ref to stop the fight. There after, he puts his glove on the refs neck and gets suspended and fined.

        I said on 01-26-2006 that..

"Judah has no 0% chance of beating Mayweather. I picked Baldomir to beat Zab and he did. This fight will just be another LOSS for Judah and I predict by KO."

Well part of that is true that I picked Baldomir to beat Zab and he did. The rest about Judah having no chance I now disagree with and here is why...

It's all about size, speed and punching power. In this fight Judah has the natural size, speed, and punch to dominate the smaller Mayweather.

Over the course of the last two years Judah has matured not only physically, but mentally as well. He's coming in focused on a seek-and-destroy mission in this fight in order to prove that the Baldomir loss was a fluke. Judah had the same mindset in the second Cory Spinks fight, but more than that he's finally grown into a true welterweight and you can tell by his performance in the second Spinks fight. Judah practically manhandled Spinks, who is still one of the 30 best fighters in the world.

It takes a while to grow into a new division and coming into the first Spinks fight Judah had never fought as a welterweight and he still had enough to hurt Spinks and keep the fight close. Some people might feel that the distractions associated with fighting in front of his hometown are what affected Spinks' performance in the second fight, but I think it had more to do with the fact that Judah had almost year to acclimate himself to the weight, unlike Mayweather, who really hasn't had enough time to acclimate himself to 140 pounds, much less 147.

Beside the natural size advantage over Mayweather, Judah hits a lot harder and has always been stronger than Mayweather. And even though Mayweather will still have an edge in speed, his advantage in that category will be considerably less than at any point in his career.

Seriously, who has Mayweather faced that's faster than Judah? Also, when looking at fights, it's good to look at fighter's weaknesses and strengths and Judah's one true weakness is his chin. He's been knocked down by Jan Bergman, Terron Millett, Spinks, and was knocked out by Kostya Tzsyu. Judah was also stunned by Baldomir, but Baldomir might even be able to pack a bigger punch than Mayweather at 147. Mayweather can't even crack an egg. That's probably the only department where he's lacking and it's really going to show at welterweight.

He won't be able to hurt Judah and Judah is going to be in there throwing bombs without worrying too much about what's coming his way. And that's why I think Mayweather-Judah is a great fight.

Zab shows up in shape and often overwhelms his opponents with an intimidating mixture of speed, power, and punching angles.

But just as quickly as he’s dazzling does something strange happen: he begins that frustrating fall into dreamland. What he is thinking about we don’t know, but in an instant he can snap out of his daze with a vengeance; like a sleeping baby awaken by a loud noise.

Jose Luis Castillo gave Mayweather all kinds of trouble because he was able to match Floyd in one major department: focus. Zab’s major weakness is a lack of focus but ironically he can match Mayweather in the speed and reflex category like no one else. And he also has a decided power edge.

Think about it: DeMarcus Corley rocked Floyd a few times and he isn’t as quick as Judah. All in all, Judah’s physical ability could trouble the sport’s best fighter to a degree he has not yet experienced. For years Roy Jones Jr. got away with fighting boxers who simply were not as fast as him. What if he had someone to match his speed during his prime? Would he have been able to cope?

I believe that Zab Judah has a great chance to win this fight. And not just win but shock Mayweather with a quick stoppage. If he attacks early and hard, maybe he gets Floyd to return fire and catches him flush with that left hand.

For Mayweather this fight is just business because he has always won every fight and expects to win.

Zab Judah now has the missing ingredient which is pure focus to add to his speed, power, and natural strength advantage. Zab Judah in this fight has the desperateness of a cornered cat, motivation to avenge his recent loss, heal his wounded pride and put his career back on track.

Is Mayweather big enough at 147 and will he have the punching power to hurt Zab and push him back ?

Zab can match Floyd's speed and reflex; Zab has superior focus and the power edge to win by quick KO stoppage.
