WBO junior middleweight champion Demetrius Andrade has slammed the hype that Miguel Cotto is receiving after recovering from back to back defeats to Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Austin Trout.

Cotto, now trained by Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach, is returning in November when he defends his world title against Saul "Canelo" Alvarez of Mexico.

Back in 2012, Cotto dropped decision losses to Mayweather and Trout. He then hired Roach and won three fights in a row, all by stoppage, over Delvin Rodriguez, Sergio Martinez and Daniel Geale.

cotto is getting a ton of hype. he has been since after the first margarito fight. he fought a C level fighter in jennings in a return fight who has barely fought since and cotto won a world title in that fight, i thought cotto also lost the clottey fight. beat a shot mayorga as well and antonios eye was already jacked in the 2nd fight. i know some of you will say im hating, but if you can prove me wrong go ahead and try and i will eat my words but it wont happen. oh yeah, he fought crippled foreman as well for another title.
